Today's consumer is much more interested in environmentally friendly products. 1) We use more energy efficient building materials that have less of an impact on air quality, healthier and saves valuable resources. 2) We also offer finish products that feature recycled materials, such as recycled glass mosaics that look like real marble or wood, counter-tops, water borne cabinet finishes and paints with low V.O.C.'s (Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) are organic chemicals that have a high vapor pressure at ordinary room temperature. Their high vapor pressure results from a low boiling point, which causes large numbers of molecules to evaporate or sublimate from the liquid or solid form of the compound and enter the surrounding air, a trait known as volatility. For example, formaldehyde, which evaporates from paint and releases from materials like resin, has a boiling point of only –19 °C (–2 °F).)
We here at BMI are concerned about our customers & the environment we live. Choose your finishes wisely.
Hi BMI,
As a contractor for over 40 years, I couldn’t agree more. Over the years I have seen more & more people asking for more energy efficient products that are safer for us and the environment.
Thank you for that affirming comment.
